I just had to tell you how much we enjoyed our 4 night stay at your hotel. I have never been so pleased with a hotel stay as I was at Habitat Hotel. Your staff was always very helpful and friendly, the entire hotel was wonderfully well-kept and the food at breakfast and happy hour was much more than expected in terms of variety and quality. You make Embassy Suites look like a poor relation! I just wish I had reason to visit Austin more often! Keep up the good work. ... one more thing... I was so inspired by the beautiful plantings at the hotel that I decided to plant our roof garden with a similar theme instead of my usual "fortune in flowers" theme. We have a roof garden over our 2 car garage, and usually have 25+ pots in annuals. This year I've gone green and planted beans, tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, peas, herbs, radishes and strawberries in pots. We've already been enjoying our fresh green beans, and are eagerly awaiting our first tomato. While we have a small back yard, it doesn't get much sun, so I've never done much with vegetables. This year there seems to be a real support of pot vegetable growing at our local plant center, so I've turned into an urban farmer. Thanks for the inspiration! Linda

Folks, I had my first stay at Habitat Suites this past Monday. What took me so long!!!! I won't stay anywhere else now when I visit Austin.You walk what others only talk. We had made reservations at another hotel (June 4) nearby and when we checked in, we were VERY, VERY disappointed. We spent one night, checked out the next morning and contacted friends who were already at the Habitat to get us a roome. Needless to say Donald came through for us and we were extremely happy when we arrived, the rooms were clean and the new decor was great. I'll never make the mistake of staying anywhere else while in Austin. You have a great staff and beautiful grounds, keep up the GREAT work.

We forget that we are in the middle of Austin, Texas. We never want to leave, smile. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. The breakfast, happy hour and pool area just make you want to stay forever. Our experience has really encouraged us to recycle a nd be more conscious of our environment. It is our little hide-a-way. The landscaping, vegetation selection, and birds are priceless. The rooms are stunning and cozy. The food is more than expected and greatly appreciated! Excellent facility—beautiful surroundings—we love this place! Love staying here—so peaceful and clean. Huge supporter of what your mission/ ideology stands for and you accomplish it extremely well. Exactly as you market yourselves… excellent place. Excellent breakfast buffet, very nice rooms; very pleasant pool/ outside area, extremely helpful, polite and friendly staff. Great measure to conserve water—low flow shower heads, towel / sheet policy. Very friendly and professional service! The complimentary breakfast was delightful! "  It is not often that I find myself compelled to express my thoughts regarding the customer service and care that I receive when visiting hotels. As a frequent traveler I’m accustomed to receiving the “usual treatment” from hotel staff and I’ve set my expectations accordingly—not the case with your property. From my first interaction with your staff until the very last I was treated with service representing the highest degree of professionalism and hospitality. In short, my expectations were exceeded. On the few occasions that I had a question or concern the staff responded quickly. I was asked questions about my needs before they arose—in the business world we call that preparation. I really enjoyed the happy hour and the healthy breakfast selection. Other hotels could take a page from your play book; they might get a few letters like this one. As for my future visits to Austin, those other hotels won’t see me. My decision has been made—I’ll keep coming back to Habitat Suites. Kudos."
